New Delhi (Nilesh Tiwari), 24 October: Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel is all set to join Gujarat Titans as batting mentor for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). According to a TOI report, sources close to developments reveal that Parthiv Patel will join Gujarat Titans support staff.
Parthiv Patel replaces Gary Kirsten, who left the Ipl franchise and joined Pakistan’s white-ball head coach role earlier this year.
During his career, Patel represented India in 25 Tests, 38 ODIs and 2 T20Is. In domestic cricket, he played for Gujarat in 194 first-class matches.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan, will be among the top three retention at the franchise, along with Shubman Gill and Mohammed Shami for the IPL (Indian Premier League)
