Indian Premier League (IPL) Delhi Capitals are likely to part ways with their Captain Rishabh Pant for the upcoming IPL 2025. Earlier, Pant was nearly confirmed for the Delhi Capitals, but now things are not looking so good.
Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings are also interested in having Rishabh Pant as their captaincy role for the upcoming seasons.
There have been many discussions taken place between Rishabh Pant and the Delhi Capitals owners, and the latest news reports says that Rishabh Pant wants the captaincy of Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2025 but the current management is not ready for this.
He scored 446 runs in 13 matches in IPL 2024, at a strike rate of 155.40, which is considered good in terms of T20s in the current period.
Rishabh Pant currently with the Indian team in Pune for the second Test match Against Black Caps which is scheduled to take place October 25.
IPL MEGA AUCTION SCHEDULED DATES-
The Indian Premier League mega auction for IPL 2025 will take place outside India. The mega auction will take place from November 24 and 25 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
