New Delhi: At a time when there is instability in India and a massive protest is underway at Jantar Mantar, India’s most powerful businessman, Mukesh Ambani, and the world’s most powerful businessman, Elon Musk, are fighting for a monopoly in the Indian communications market. Elon Musk wants to bring Starlink to the Indian market, whereas Mukesh Ambani seeks to maintain his monopoly in the Indian communications sector. History offers numerous examples showing that when major industrialists vie for a monopoly, the people of the country have to bear the consequences.

Elon Musk sarcastically called Mukesh Ambani ‘Prime Minister Ambani’. He writes, “Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.”

He also accused Mukesh Ambani for exploiting Indians. He said, “Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?”

The American businessman also claimed that the Starlink will help connecting rural India people to the world. He added, “There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.”

Elon Musk also claimed, “Starlink has proven to be essential for saving lives during natural disasters throughout the world, when all other communications systems have failed, so you would also be helping save men, women and children throughout India.”
