New Delhi (Nilesh Tiwari), 24 October: Lucknow SuperGiants are set to part ways with their captain KL Rahul ahead of IPL mega auction. Speedster Mayank Yadav will be among the top three retention at the franchise, along with Nicholas Pooran and Ravi Bishnoi for the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025.
KL Rahul has been the captain of Lucknow Super Giant in all the seasons in the IPL but team’s management is not happy with his captaincy and his batting strike rate.

LSG (Lucknow Super Giant ) are unlikely to retain their Captain Rahul, a month ago he failed to deliver into Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. So, the team’s management and LSG owner are not happy with batting strike rate and his leadership.
KL Rahul has played 132 IPL matches, Scoring 4,683 runs with a strike rate of 134.61, including four centuries and 37 fifties. Despite his strong batting record, the franchise are not happy with him and are set to release him ahead of the mega auction.
