Amaravati (Aditya Pratap), November 25: E-commerce company Myntra has started working on quick delivery services in Bengaluru. The pilot project “M-NOW’ is operational in a few special pin code areas in Bengaluru, as well as the selected products of choice.
This is the first time that Flipkart-backed lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra is piloting a quick delivery service that guarantees delivery within two hours in select areas of Bengaluru. Myntra was bought in 2014.
According to the sources, the “M-Now” testing project is said to entail fewer postal codes in Bengaluru and only a minor range of goods “to see how it works.” However, the service would be expanded to cover broader areas upon further experimentation.
The Bengaluru-based firm initiated M-Express, an express delivery service, in 2022, and they also started to provide delivery within a timeframe of 24 to 48 hours post-ordering within urban locations.
Before Myntra, YouTube developed their e-store as a new feature where they also offered the link to the product of Myntra.
A Myntra spokes person said to PTI, “Earlier, we launched M-Express to boost customer speed and have tested a pilot for faster delivery in a selected few pin codes. Before the official launch, we will look into the insights gained regarding the expansion.”
Myntra is developing their features in various sectors to compete with the other giant platform; therefore, the new pilot project will specifically deliver the cosmetic and fashion products in quick commerce areas with M-Now.
Boasting a strong user base, Myntra has about 40 million annual transaction customers. The company’s revenue from operations reportedly increased by 25 percent from Rs 3,501 crore in FY22 to Rs 4,375 crore in FY23.
