New Delhi (Nilesh Tiwari): England has announced a 15-man squad for T20I against India in preparation for January 2025 T20I against India.

England announce T20I squad for series against India:
The England side would leave for India to play the ODI and T20I series from 17 January. The T20I series will start in Kolkata. Other T20I matches are scheduled to be held at Chennai, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai. After the conclusion of T20I matches, England will tour India and first play a three-match series of ODIs in India before the Champions Trophy 2025; these will begin in Nagpur on February 6.

ODIs squad for England’s India series has also been announced. Joe Root returns to England’s white-ball team for the first time in more than a year. It’s been over one year since he last appeared in an ODI. That had been in November 2023 when he walked into the field at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata during the World Cup match against Pakistan.
