New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) today conducted its 24th Stakeholders’ Interaction Meet through virtual conferencing, chaired by Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman & Managing Director & Director (Finance), IREDA. The meet witnessed active participation from borrowers and other stakeholders from across the renewable energy sector.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty emphasized the importance of maintaining asset quality and sound governance practices as key pillars of IREDA’s sustainable and long-term growth. He urged IREDA’s business partners to remain focused on responsible project execution, financial discipline and qualitative governance.
Dr. Mohanty also highlighted the upcoming Bharat RE Summit and Expo 2026, scheduled to be held from 2-5November 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, as a significant platform for bringing together stakeholders across the renewable energy ecosystem. He emphasized that the Summit would provide an opportunity for borrowers and other stakeholders to engage, collaborate and exchange ideas, thereby contributing to India’s ongoing green energy transition and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

The Stakeholders’ Meet also featured presentations on IREDA’s financial performance, recent fundraising initiatives and the Action Taken Report arising from the previous Stakeholders’ Interaction Meet. It was informed that several modifications in IREDA’s financing norms have already been implemented based on suggestions and feedback received from borrowers during earlier interactions.
The participating borrowers appreciated IREDA’s proactive and stakeholder-centric approach and shared further suggestions for strengthening and streamlining its processes and initiatives. The interaction reaffirmed IREDA’s commitment to maintaining an open and responsive engagement with its stakeholders and its continued role as a key catalyst in advancing India’s renewable energy transition and achieving the country’s renewable energy goals.
Dr. Mohanty also conveyed his appreciation to Team IREDA for their dedicated efforts and expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for New & Renewable Energy; Minister of State for New & Renewable Energy; Secretary, MNRE; and the Board of Directors for their sustained guidance and support.
