In a small village, where everything was quiet and simple, a couple was out on their daily walk. With a sack of leaves on their head and walking hand in hand, they were spending time with each other. There was a photographer standing there to turn this couple’s simple walk into a memorable and beautiful moment.
Introduction to the photo
Photographer Akash Upadhyay asked the couple in Hindi, “Can I take your photo?” At first, the man hesitantly refused, “I will not.” However, Akash assured them that it would be a quick photo and he would give it to them immediately. At this, the couple agreed to the photo.
Akash told the couple, “You both were walking very beautifully hand in hand. I thought I am capturing this bond and giving it to you.” Hearing this, the woman blushed a little, and the man put the sack of leaves aside. Then they prepared themselves to pose. The photographer asked the woman, who was holding her child in her lap, to fix her hair.
Akash clicked a picture and immediately got it printed. The woman smiled and showed the picture to her son and said, “We will get it framed.” The innocence and simplicity of the couple was evident at the scene. There was a moment when the woman gave another picture in which both of them were standing holding hands. Seeing this scene, the woman blushed again and the man softly said, “You have done a lot for us.” After this, they again put the sack of leaves on their heads and walked away.
When the couple started walking, the woman turned for the last time and smiled and softly said, “Goodbye.” There was a special warmth in her smile, which made this simple moment unforgettable.
Appreciation on social media
After Akash captured this beautiful moment on camera, social media users praised his generosity and the innocence of the couple. One user wrote, “Thank you from them, this is a memory of their life.” Another said, “It was so simple and beautiful. We always complain about life, while these two have found true happiness.”
Other memorable moments
This was not the first time Mr Upadhyay had captured the innocence of a couple. Earlier, he had also spotted an elderly couple who were riding on a cycle cart. He urged them to pose together too, and as they got comfortable, they posed while looking into each other’s eyes.
