New Delhi: V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AM Green to advance e-ammonia production, export and bunkering through VOC Port.
The MoU was exchanged by Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, and Shantanu Agarwal, Vice President – Business Development, AM Green, in the presence of Santosh Kumar Sarangi, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India.
VOC Port informed on X, “The partnership will strengthen VOC Port’s green ambitions by enabling the movement of AM Green’s produced ammonia through the port for export and future bunkering, while creating opportunities for the development of storage, handling and related logistics infrastructure. The initiative aligns with VOC Port’s Green Hydrogen roadmap and supports the broader objectives of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, reinforcing the Port’s commitment to advancing sustainable maritime and energy solutions.”
