Mumbai: Kilburn Engineering Limited has secured its first orders from Casale SA, Switzerland, valued at ₹70.2 crore. The orders cover design, engineering and manufacture of process equipment for fertilizer applications. Casale is a leading global technology licensor in the fertilizer, chemical and energy sectors, and its supplier network serves some of the world’s largest industrial projects.
The win marks Kilburn’s entry into Casale’s qualified supplier base – an outcome that reflects the technical credibility and execution record Kilburn has built in Dryers, Granulators, Coaters and Coolers for the fertilizer industry.
Amritanshu Khaitan, Chairman, Kilburn Engineering Limited, said, “The Casale orders are a validation of the standard we have set in process equipment for the fertilizer industry. Over the past year we have won orders from Coromandel, RCF, FACT, Hindustan Zinc, Tecnimont and now Casale – a combination of domestic blue-chips, global EPC contractors and technology licensors. The enquiry pipeline remains strong, and we are well-positioned to build on this momentum.”
The Casale orders come alongside a run of domestic fertilizer wins over the past twelve months. Kilburn has supplied Dryers, Granulators, Coaters and Coolers to Coromandel International, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF), Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) and Hindustan Zinc, with aggregate domestic order value of approximately ₹100 crore.
On the international front, Kilburn has secured an export order from Tecnimont, the Italian EPC contractor, and previously supplied equipment for the OCP Morocco project through JESA – one of the largest fertilizer investments currently underway globally. Across these engagements, Kilburn has demonstrated an ability to meet the qualification standards of demanding global customers.
Rotary dryers, granulators, coaters, fluid bed coolers and related thermal processing equipment are a core part of Kilburn’s product portfolio. The Company is currently addressing a strong pipeline of enquiry in the fertilizer sector, spanning both domestic and export markets.
