Amravati (Aditya Pratap), 27 October: Indian content creators have the opportunity to earn by providing product links and hashtags of Flipkart and Myntra products directly on their descriptions, with YouTube announcing to partner with e-commerce for promotion of the e-store, which will be directly linked with the creators channel.
The newly launched affiliate program will offer only to the eligible candidates who will fulfil the guidelines and criteria.
Amid all, YouTubers earn through channel views, video promotion, and providing the product link in their descriptions, but after this policy they will be able to connect the consumer or targeted audience directly to the promoted product links to earn from retailers as commissions and rewards.
What all new changes will take up on platform?
1. Content creators of video streaming platform YouTube can sign up for YouTube shopping . After it, the streaming platform will select the creators account for verification in the affiliate marketing program, and then they will be able to put the direct links of products in their live streaming channel and shorts.
2. It will provide great features of shopping while watching livestreams and shorts; creators will directly provide the retailer product link; after the views tap, they will continue with the browsing without leaving the video platform and can enjoy the listed products.
3. Creators will be eligible to tag the 30 product minimum on description links.
Eligibility for YouTubers:
For Youtube shopping affiliation, creators have to register themselves on the store with 10,000 subscriptions and more . Made for kids channels and music channels will be deprived of these benefits. Also, tags for products will not be displayed on videos with product claimed content.

1. First step : Download the YouTube Studio app and sign up. Tap on the Earn option.
2. Go through the program option and tap the Join Now option .
3. Read the terms and conditions and accept the service.
