New Delhi (Defence Correspondent): Addressing #Army Day Annual Press Conference at the Manekshaw Centre in NewDelhi, Indian Army Chief (#COAS) Upendra Dwivedi on Monday said that the situation along the border areas in Ladakh is still sensitive but stable. Both countries are trying to restore the trust along the Line of Control (LAC). Patrolling and grazing activities have resumed in Depsang and Demchok areas of Ladakh.
Army Chief also highlighted the situation in Jammu and Kashmir said that Kashmir region is largely under control and around 60 per cent of the terrorists neutralised in the last one year were of Pakistani origin.
He declared 2025 as the ‘Year of Technology Absorption’ for the #IndianArmy and addressed key issues of Security, Modernisation and the pivotal role of #IndianArmy in Nation Building.
