New Delhi: Russian cosmonauts on Monday sent congratulations message to India from the International Space Station over upcoming Independence Day celebrations.

Russian cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov, Anna Kikina and Andrey Fedyaev remembered India-Russia friendship. Pyotr Dubrov said, “India broke free from colonial rule and embarked on a path of self-reliance and prosperity.”
Anna Kikina highlighted India’s geographical beauty and said, “India is very beautiful from above, but it is even more beautiful on Earth.”
Andrey Fedyaev said, “Long live India-Russia friendship!”
Indian social media users are expressing gratitudes to the cosmonauts for this act. Rishabh Pratap Singh writes on X, ” This super cool . Russians really know how to win hearts and keeps friendship . I don’t see any other nation doing such stuff . NO Reason why indians choose Russians as best friends.”
