Greater Noida (National Desk): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the largest mobility expo in India, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, “Ease of travel is a top priority for India today.”
Social media users are responding to Prime Minister Modi’s comments. One User wrote on X, “Narendra Modi has turned India to accident capital of India by doing too many construction and that too many of bad quality and not thinking design issues.. the accident rates have gone have due to solely rabid pace of (sometimes unnecessary) changes to infrastructure and roads.”
Sikha wrote, “Well said by PM Modi! ‘Ease of travel is a top priority for India today.’ This focus on improving infrastructure and connectivity will not only boost tourism but also enhance the ease of doing business, making India a global hub for progress and opportunity.”
Another user wrote, “Abolish IncomeTax Indian government literally loves this word “ease”. But we, middle class is definitely not at-ease. BJP will learn it the hard way.
Jinkya Parulekar also replied on X, “PM of India or even his most local party office bearers don’t travel without a traffic blocking convoy and traffic blocks. Ease of travel only for the babus.”
PM Modi said that the scale of this year’s expo had greatly expanded with the expo happening at two other venues in the National Capital Region, as compared to last year’s numbers of 800 exhibitors, 2.5 lakh visitors. He noted that over the next 5 days, there would be many new vehicles launched with lots of delegates attending the event. “This shows that there is great positivity related to the future of mobility in India”, he added. Mentioning his visit to the exhibition at the venue, Modi exclaimed “ The automotive industry of India is fantastic and future-ready” and gave his best regards to everyone.
