New Delhi: BEML Ltd (formerly Bharat Earth Movers Limited) has secured a USD 6.65 million order for the supply of BE220G Hydraulic Excavators from Mauritius, with deployment across Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, DRC, Cรดte dโIvoire and neighbouring African markets.
Powered by a 148 HP diesel engine, the BE220G is designed to deliver reliable performance across demanding construction and mining applications.
The order will be executed in phases, beginning with pilot deployment in Sierra Leone, supported by comprehensive warranty coverage and technical assistance from BEML.
With this order, BEMLโs international order bookings stand at approximately USD 119 million, reflecting the growing contribution of global markets to the Companyโs business. As BEML continues to take Indian engineering, manufacturing and technology capabilities to the world, this multi-country deployment marks another step forward in strengthening its presence across Africaโs growing mining and construction equipment sector.
