New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has entered into partnerships with Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) for manufacturing fuselage structures for the Prachand Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), further expanding India’s indigenous helicopter production ecosystem.
BEML to contribute to Prachand Light Combat Helicopter – Prachand through the indigenous design and manufacture of advanced aerostructures, further strengthening our capabilities in India’s defence aerospace ecosystem.
BEML informed on X, “Building on our earlier experience of delivering similar aerostructures for HAL’s helicopters, BEML is leveraging its advanced aerospace manufacturing infrastructure, specialised processes and precision engineering capabilities at its Mysuru Complex to meet stringent aerospace standards of quality, reliability and performance.”
“The programme marks one of BEML’s significant orders in the Aerospace business and is an important step in expanding our capabilities in mission-critical aerostructures and next-generation defence technologies. We remain committed to continuously advancing our engineering capabilities and contributing, in our own way, to Aatmanirbhar Bharat and India’s journey towards self-reliance in critical defence technologies,” BEML added.
