Mumbai: After major successes in 2024 with films like Pushpa 2: The Rise and Stree 2, the upcoming years are set to bring even more blockbuster hits. Maddock Films, led by director Dinesh Vijan, recently revealed the release dates for the sequels to some of their biggest films, including Stree 3 and Bhediya 2. In addition, the production house has announced a line-up of highly anticipated thrillers, such as Thama starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Shakti Shalini, and Chamunda. This announcement comes on the heels of the studio’s success with films like Stree 2 and Munjya, which have been well-received by both audiences and critics.

Ambitious Plans for the Future
The announcement marks an ambitious step for Maddock Films, which has seen immense success in the horror-comedy genre. Building on the success of films like Stree 2, Munjya, and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in 2024, Maddock Films aims to solidify its place as a pioneer in the genre, bringing even more exciting content to the big screen in the coming years.
Stree 3 to Release in 2027
The third installment in the Stree series, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is set to release on August 13, 2027. Additionally, the second part of Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, will hit theaters on August 14, 2026.
New Thrillers to Look Forward to
Along with the sequels, Maddock Films has exciting new projects lined up within its universe. Among these are Thama, set to release during Diwali 2025, Shakti Shalini (December 31, 2025), and Chamunda (December 4, 2026). The studio also has major plans for two large-scale films, The First World War (August 11, 2028) and The Second World War (October 18, 2028), which are expected to bring a fresh and exciting perspective to historical narratives.
