Mumbai: The Heavy Engineering arm of L&T has dispatched the seventh 700 MWe Steam Generator for the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL), marking a significant milestone in India’s fast-track nuclear programme.
The Steam Generators are fabricated at L&T’s world-class manufacturing facilities at the A M Naik Heavy Engineering Complex at Hazira and Vadodara in Gujarat.
L&T continues to be an industry trend-setter with the dispatch of seven Steam Generator ahead of schedule, while adhering to most-stringent quality and safety standards. The before-time dispatch reinforces the Company’s commitment to supporting India’s energy goals and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
