Greater Noida (National Desk): Recently, the Indian government blocked the social media accounts of some Pakistani artists in the country. But this digital wall did not stop the passion of Indian fans. Famous Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, whose Instagram account is no longer available in India, has still managed to stay connected with Indian fans—with the help of VPN. Hania Aamir is loved by millions of people in India, and when direct access to her account was blocked, fans resorted to VPN (Virtual Private Network). One user commented on her post on Instagram, writing, “VPN subscription only for you.” To this, Hania responded very emotionally, “Love you.”
Another fan told her that Indian fans are still able to see her posts through VPN, to which Hania’s reaction was – “I will cry.” It is clear from these reactions that she is very impressed with this dedication of her fans.
How VPN became a bridge for fans
VPN is a digital tool that virtually changes a user’s location. This makes it appear as if the user is accessing the internet from another country. Many fans are now using VPN to view geoblocked accounts in India so that they can stay connected with their favorite stars.
Why were the restrictions imposed?
The Indian government took this decision after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, in which 26 tourists were killed. In response, India took several strict steps against Pakistan, including geoblocking the accounts of Pakistani artists on social media. Many names like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam and Hania Aamir are included in this.
Fan base is beyond borders
This incident shows that the influence of art and artists is not limited to any border or policy. This dedication of fans for Hania Aamir is proof that when it comes to the matter of heart, people cross every wall – be it digital or political.
This bond between Hania and her fans is yet another reminder that love, appreciation and art know no boundaries.
