New Delhi (National Desk), November 27: Israel and Lebanon have finally came to a ceasefire agreement after months of deadly clashes in the middle east. The agrements outlines a two-months ceasefire in the conflict zone. Hezbollah will withdraw its army presence in the southern Lebnon and Israel will also withdraw its army presence in the reason.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Wednesday welcomed this ceasefire agreement and said India has always called for “de-escalation”.
“We welcome the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon that has been announced. We have always called for de-escalation, restraint and return to the path of dialogue and diplomacy. We hope these developments will lead to peace and stability in the wider region,” MEA said in a press release.
