New Delhi (BharatNeeti): The board of Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (DCIL) has again showed confidence in Durgesh Kumar Dubey, an IRTS officer of 2006 batch, to lead the premier dredging company of India.
Based on recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the company approved the extension of tenure of Durgesh Kumar Dubey as MD and CEO of DCIL for a period of six more months effective from 16 April 2025 upto 15 October 2025, or until till further orders whichever is earlier subject to regularization by the shareholders in the next Annual General Meeting or through postal ballot with in three months whichever is earlier.
He is being appointed is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such Authority, the company said.
Dubey, who also holds the charge of Deputy Chairman Visakhapatnam Port Authority, assumed the charge as MD & CEO DCIL on April 16, 2024. The official has served the Indian Railways in various roles in Bilaspur, Prayagraj and Jhansi.
