New Delhi (Staff Correspondent), November 29: Indian National Congress on Friday constituted internal committees to examine party’s electoral performance in the recent elections.
Addressing a press conference, Congress General Secretary K. C. Venugopal said, “The Congress Working Committee (CWC) has decided to constitute internal committees to look into the matters related to the electoral performance of the party and its organisational matters in the blocks and districts.”
K. C. Venugopal said that CWC met today to discuss the current political situation in the country. They had a detailed discussion including on the recently concluded assembly elections.
“The party has also decided to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s presidency of INC at Belagavi in December. Further, an extended working committee will be held followed by a massive rally at Belagavi,” he added.
