Kolkata: BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has bagged an order for Design, Drawing, Supply and Erection of 25 KVOHE and allied electrical works with modification works of affected OHE in connection with ‘Extension of Platform at DEB, BEB, BPC,BP& NH of Sealdah Division. The total project cost comprises of Rs. 46.18 million and it is expected to be executed over a period of 12 months. The company informed in a press release on Friday.
Uday Narayan Singh, Executive Director and CFO said, “The extension of platform may accommodate longer trains, improve passenger safety, and manage higher passenger volumes. The value of this order isRs. 46.18 million.”

We are quite optimistic about similar projects to come on PAN India basis. There is a constant flow of railway work including EPC orders, modification work, laying of new lines, addition of 3 and 4TM lines in the existing railway tracks, increase in the speed of existing railway lines and we are optimistic that there will be no paucity of work flow in the near future,” he added.
BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited is engaged in the field of railway infrastructure development. Its business activities include designing, drawing, supplying, erecting and commissioning of 25KV, 50 Hz Single Phase Traction Overhead Equipment.
