New Delhi: Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi (#GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS) visited ASSAM RIFLES, HQ IGAR (EAST) to review the operational preparedness and overall readiness. During the visit, he was briefed on operational capabilities, technology infusion, synergy with other security agencies and the various Nation-building initiatives being undertaken by Spear Corps (@Spearcorps) & IGAR (EAST).
#COAS lauded the high standards of professionalism, operational excellence and readiness displayed by the troops of Indian Army & Assam Rifles deployed in the challenging terrain. He commended their unwavering dedication, commitment to duty and exceptional state of preparedness.
In recognition of exemplary service and outstanding performance, #COAS also pinned the Commendation Card to selected personnel, appreciating their professionalism, devotion to duty and significant contributions to operational effectiveness.
