New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former Indian cricket captain, is not only adored for his cricketing skills but also for his love for animals, particularly dogs. Recently, a heartwarming video of Dhoni spending quality time with his daughter Ziva and their pet Golden Retriever went viral on social media. The video shows Dhoni brushing the dog’s golden coat with great care, while Ziva lends a hand in helping. At one point, the playful dog mischievously grabs the comb with its mouth and refuses to let go, which leads to Ziva trying to retrieve it. This interaction between the father-daughter duo and their pet brought a smile to many faces, making the video even more endearing. The official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared the clip, describing it as “Therapeutic,” highlighting the calming and joyful nature of the moment.

Immense Attention Received

The video quickly garnered immense attention, racking up over 159,000 views. Many fans took to the comments section to express their admiration for Dhoni’s patience and his loving behavior toward his dog. One fan drew a connection between Dhoni’s leadership qualities and his calm attitude, writing, “This is how Thala prepared Indian players under his leadership.” Another user commented, “A legend in his own world,” while a third added, “Dhoni has always been an ideal for everyone. He shows such kindness towards dogs.”

Earlier got viral for a statement on PR

This video also comes on the heels of Dhoni making headlines for his views on Public Relations (PR) and social media. In a recent conversation during the EuroGrip Trade Talks, Dhoni shared his thoughts on why he feels he doesn’t need PR to maintain his public image. “I’ve never been a big fan of social media. Over the years, I’ve had several managers who always encouraged me to get involved in it. I started playing in 2004, and social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram gained popularity shortly after. My managers kept suggesting that I should focus on building a PR presence. But my answer was always the same: ‘If you play good cricket, you don’t need PR,'” Dhoni stated.

This candid statement reflects Dhoni’s simple and grounded approach to life, focusing on his game and staying true to his roots, rather than seeking attention through social media or external promotions. His attitude, both on and off the field, continues to make him a beloved figure in the world of cricket and beyond.
