New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned from his post after a month-long massive student protest across country over NEET paper leaks.
Dharmendra sent his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and wrote, “Considering the situation at Jantar Mantar and across the country, so that anti-national forces do not take advantage of this situation, the unity of the country is maintained, not a single student’s future in India gets entangled in legal complexities, our children devote their time to studies, and focus on building their careers—this is what I have been reflecting on, and accordingly, I have submitted my resignation to the Honorable Prime Minister.”
“I express my heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed Prime Minister for his guidance, trust, and continuous support. At the same time, I also thank all my esteemed colleagues in the Council of Ministers, the officials and employees of the ministry, and all those individuals with whom I had the good fortune to work. National service is the highest priority of my life. I will remain dedicated to it always,” he added.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke says, “Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned. This is the proof that if you don’t get scared, if you don’t bow down in front of this government, you can take anyone’s resignation. Don’t be scared in democracy.”
