New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) today inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 at its Registered Office in New Delhi. The event began with Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman & Managing Director, administering the Integrity Pledge to employees, in presence of Chief Guest Rajesh Verma, Ex-Secretary, ABBFF, Ajay Kumar Sahani, Chief Vigilance Officer and other senior officials. This year’s theme is “Probity for Prosperity”.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mohanty said, “True prosperity is measured not only by growth and achievements, but also by the values and ethical standards through which they are attained.” He added that as India’s dedicated green financial institution, IREDA is entrusted with public resources. Every decision must therefore be guided by integrity, transparency and sound financial judgement, and its commitment to the nation’s green energy goals must go hand in hand with the highest standards of ethical conduct.
A highlight of the inauguration event was an interactive session by Rajesh Verma, Ex-Secretary, ABBFF.
CMD encouraged employees to take active part in the week-long observance from 26th October to 1st November 2026. The week will include workshops, awareness programmes and competitions to reinforce the values of integrity, transparency and accountability.
Employees from all IREDA offices took part virtually, making the observance truly organisation wide.
