New Delhi: The UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (UGC-MMTTC), Central University of Haryana (CUH) has successfully organized the 09th Multidisciplinary Refresher Course on “Reimagining Education in the 21st Century”. Prof. Harikesh Singh, Former Vice Chancellor, Jai Prakash University, Bihar & Professor, BHU, was the Chief Guest of the valedictory programme and he delivered an insightful address on Avenues for Reimagining Education in 21st Century. In his keynote address, the speaker emphasized that teachers play a pivotal role in shaping human capital and developing responsible citizens for the nation. He highlighted that pedagogy must evolve continuously to meet the changing needs of society and the demands of the 21st century. Stressing the importance of new knowledge, innovation, and human values, he remarked that education should not only impart skills but also nurture ethical and compassionate individuals.

The valedictory programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Prof. Parmod Kumar, Director, UGC-MMTTC, CUH and he welcomed the Chief Guest, Programme Coordinators and distinguished guests. He highlighted the objectives and outcomes of the 09th Multidisciplinary Refresher Course on “Reimagining Education in the 21st Century” emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and lifelong learning in the rapidly evolving educational landscape. He encouraged participants to apply the knowledge and insights gained during the course in their academic and professional endeavours and wished them success in their future pursuits and also formally introduced the Chief Guest of the programme.
Thereafter, Dr. Mahendar Kakkerla, Programme Coordinator, CUH, presented a brief report of the programme. He provided an overview of the various academic sessions conducted during the programme and highlighted the key themes discussed by eminent resource persons. He also appreciated the enthusiastic participation and active engagement of the participants throughout the programme. The programme also included a feedback session in which selected participants shared their experiences and reflections. The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Parmod Kumar.
