Mumbai: Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited (BSE: 544782 | NSE: VOGL), India’s leading private oil and gas exploration and production company, announced its financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2026. The company reported revenue growth of 9% YoY at ₹ 2,507 crores in Q1 FY27. EBITDA stood at ₹ 1,232 crores – up 16% Q-o-Q, as Profit After Tax (PAT) including discontinued operation stood at ₹ 945 crores, reflecting a strong financial foundation and disciplined execution.

The company reported an average gross operated production of 77.7 kboepd across its assets, while the average working interest production stood at 51.1 kboepd. At the end of the first quarter, total gross oil and gas production reached 7.1 million boe, while total working interest production stood at 4.7 million boe.

The company has notified a Gas discovery in the Kaam BCP-1ST well, drilled as part of the Deep Gas exploration campaign in the Kameshwari-Graben area of the RJ-ON-90/1 block in the Barmer Basin in Rajasthan. It will be undertaking detailed technical and commercial evaluations of the discovery.

As we advance a strong pipeline of near and medium-term growth opportunities including exploration drilling, enhanced oil recovery (ASP), and infill development campaigns aimed at arresting decline and enhancing production and resources, we remain well positioned to drive sustainable growth and create long-term value for all stakeholders.”

The company’s strong EBITDA and revenue growth, and healthy PAT, reflects its solid fundamentals and continued commitment to optimising operations and enhancing efficiency for long-term sustainable growth.

The Rajasthan block, the most prolific production asset operated by the company, recorded an average daily gross operated production of 63.1 kboepd during the quarter. Average daily working interest production from KG-ONN 2003/1 stood at 0.5 kboepd, and assets acquired under the Open Acreage Licensing Programme (OALP) contributed 3.1 kboepd.

The company holds interests in 44 blocks spanning over 47,000 sq km across India, with resources of 1.4 bnboe. Its producing assets are located across the Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Assam basins, supported by technology-led exploration, advanced subsurface expertise, and world-class engineering capabilities.
