Rishikesh: THDC India Limited, a leading Power sector PSU, has been conferred with the First Prizes under the category ‘Best Usage of Social Media in a Corporate Campaign’ and ‘Sustainable Development Report’ at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference 2025, by Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) held at Hotel Emerald, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Sh. Sipan Kumar Garg, Chairman & Managing Director, THDC India Limited, congratulated Team THDCIL on the achievement and stated that this recognition reflects the organisation’s transparent, consistent, and outcome-oriented communication framework. Sh. Garg remarked that THDCIL’s strategic use of digital platforms and its focused communication on sustainability initiatives have enabled the organisation to effectively convey its development narrative, including its strong commitment to clean energy and its pioneering efforts in India’s first 1000 MW Variable Speed Tehri Pumped Storage Plant. He added that such credible and responsible communication strengthens stakeholder confidence and reinforces THDCIL’s role in nation-building.
The awards were received on behalf of THDC India Limited by Dr. A. N. Tripathy, CGM (HR–Admin & Corporate Communications). Dr. Tripathy noted that the national recognition reflects a collective institutional effort and a structured approach towards responsible communication. He added that THDCIL’s digital outreach is designed not merely for visibility, but as a credible medium for transparency, accountability and sustained stakeholder engagement.
