Surprise given to the walrus
The staff gave the walrus a surprise to make this day special. A keeper covered the walrus’ eyes so that he would not be startled by the candle light. After that, as soon as his eyes were opened, he saw his birthday celebration. After this, the rest of the staff started singing “Happy Birthday” happily and flashed the lights of their phones. The walrus looked at them all and then whistled beautifully and blew out the candle. After blowing out the candle, the walrus got his special birthday gift – fish! This was an interesting and delicious gift for the walrus, as fish is one of his favorite foods. The zoo staff joined in the walrus’ happiness and enjoyed the beverage in their huge glasses.
