Greater Noida (Staff Correspondent): India’s Ministry of Defence on Thursday claimed that the Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems in various locations in Pakistan in retaliation for acts of aggression by Pakistan.
Defence Ministry said that On the night of May 07-08, 2025, Pakistan attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India using drones and missiles, all of which were effectively neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems. In response, the Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems in various locations in Pakistan.
India’s response has been in the same domain, with the same intensity, and remains focused, measured, and non-escalatory.
“The intense, unprovoked firing by Pakistan along the Line of Control has led to the loss of 16 innocent Indian lives, and our forces acted decisively to silence the hostile fire,” Ministry said.
