New Delhi: NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, successfully concluded Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with a robust lineup of activities and outreach initiatives across its offices, projects, and regional headquarters. The observance reaffirmed NTPC’s unwavering commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical governance.

This year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” was part of a broader three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign that began on August 18, 2025. The formal commencement of the week was marked by CMD Gurdeep Singh administering the Integrity Pledge to employees on October 27, joined by Directors, senior officials, and teams from across NTPC’s nationwide operations.

Throughout the week, NTPC locations hosted walkathons, pledge ceremonies, competitions, awareness sessions, and workshops. Several sites extended the message beyond corporate boundaries through community outreach and public awareness drives, reinforcing vigilance as a collective responsibility.

As the week concluded, employees across NTPC reaffirmed their dedication to the company’s core values of integrity and transparency.

NTPC currently contributes one-fourth of India’s power requirements, with an installed capacity of 84,849 MW. An additional 30.90 GW is under construction, including 13.3 GW of renewable energy capacity. The company aims to achieve 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032, supporting India’s Net Zero ambitions.

With a diversified portfolio spanning thermal, hydro, solar, and wind power, NTPC remains committed to delivering reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity. The organization continues to adopt best practices, foster innovation, and embrace clean energy technologies to drive a greener future.

Beyond power generation, NTPC is expanding into new business areas such as e-mobility, battery storage, pumped hydro storage, waste-to-energy, nuclear power, and green hydrogen solutions. It has also participated in competitive bidding for power distribution in Union Territories, furthering its role in India’s energy transformation.
