New Delhi: The National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) may sell its stake in IntelliSmart Infrastructure, sources said.
NIIF owns 51% of the smart electricity meter company. The fund is now exploring the possibility of selling this stake.
According to a media report, NIIF has appointed an adviser. It has also started sounding out potential buyers. The fund invested in IntelliSmart in 2019. It is seeking a valuation of around $500 million for the company.
However, the talks are still at an early stage. The sources said the discussions may not necessarily lead to a final deal.
