New Delhi: NHPC signed MOU with IOCL on 27th June 2025 for collaboration and exploring opportunities for Development of Pumped Storage and other Renewable Energy Projects in India and overseas country in Joint Venture Mode. The MOU was signed by Shri Rajat Gupta, Executive Director (SBD&C) from NHPC and Shri Pravin Dongre, Executive Director (SD) from IOCL in the presence of Shri R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), Shri Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical) and GM (SBD&C) from NHPC and Shri Suman Kumar, Director (P&BD) & Shri Manoj Nanda, CGM (SD) from IOCL.
The MOU aims to foster long term collaboration between NHPC and IOCL for exploring the opportunities in the sector and development of Pumped Storage, Hydroelectric and other Renewable Energy projects in the country and abroad. The collaboration shall open new pathways for faster expansion of Renewable Energy portfolio of both the companies.
