New Delhi: Rohit Khatri, Senior Manager (Projects), IREDA, represented India at the 8th BRICS Youth Energy Summit, held virtually on Monday under India’s BRICS Presidency.
Speaking on the theme “Advancing Energy Access through Clean Energy Deployment and Innovative Financing,” he shared India’s perspective on driving inclusive and sustainable energy growth.

The Summit brought together around 100 participants, along with representatives from the BRICS Youth Energy Agency, Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), International Solar Alliance (ISA), and International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), to deliberate on India’s BRICS Energy Track pillars:
– Energy Security and Sustainability
– Energy Access and Equity
-Technology and Innovation
Khatri also engaged with delegates during an interactive Q&A session, addressing queries on India’s clean energy financing landscape and deployment strategies. Held under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability,” the Summit served as a valuable platform for young energy leaders from BRICS nations to collaborate on shaping the future of the global energy sector.
