Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited (MUNPL), an equi-participation Joint Venture Company Promoted by Maharatna Power Utility NTPC Limited & UP State Owned UP Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL), has paid first ever Final Dividend of Rs.0.28 per Ordinary Share of 10/- each amounting to Rs.102.27 Crores for the financial year ended 31st March 2024. The dividend declared in 16th Annual General Meeting of the Company, has been remitted to both the shareholders.
This milestone follows MUNPL’s record achievements for the financial year 2023-24, with revenues reaching ₹4,283 crores and a net profit of ₹348 crores. Kamlesh Soni CEO MUNPL, shared that for the financial year 2023-24 Company has achieved highest gross commercial generation of 8276Million Units and with stabilisation of Stage I of 660*2 MW MTPP, Company is aiming to become the leading power producer in Uttar Pradesh with planned Capacity addition of 5600 MW. In addition to power generation, MUNPL is committed to its efforts for community development and corporate social responsibility, with special emphasis in the field of infrastructure development, health and sanitation, drinking water, education, women’s empowerment and skill-building.
