(KWV) on Friday, following a recent Board Meeting, highlighting the company’s growing momentum across product acceptance, industry recognition, and retail expansion as it accelerates its national EV growth strategy.
The Board took note of the strong early response received by the all-new Kinetic DX EV, reflected through increasing dealership expansion, positive customer engagement, and recognition from industry experts and automotive enthusiasts alike.
In a significant milestone, the Kinetic DX was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Viewer’s Choice – EV Scooter of the Year’, with the recognition being presented by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The award reflects growing acceptance of the product among consumers and the wider automotive ecosystem, acknowledging the DX’s blend of practicality, innovation, nostalgia and modern EV technology.
The recognition comes at a time when the Kinetic DX EV is steadily building momentum in the market, receiving encouraging feedback from automotive journalists, content creators, industry experts and customers for its family-focused design, practical innovation, ride comfort, safety features, and unique blend of legacy with advanced electric mobility.
As part of its expansion roadmap, Kinetic Watts & Volts has established 20 dealerships across India, covering
Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Odisha. The company plans to add
over 30 additional dealerships during the April–June quarter of FY2026–27, further strengthening its national
footprint and reinforcing its commitment to building a robust, accessible and service-ready EV ecosystem
across the country.
The Board reviewed the company’s retail growth trajectory and reiterated its focus on strengthening market presence through customer-centric expansion, robust after-sales infrastructure, and deeper penetration into high-potential mobility markets. The Board also took note of the performance of Kinetic Engineering Limited’s auto components business, which reported an increase in revenue to ₹150 crores, reflecting steady momentum in its core operations.
The company informed the Board that it expects substantial new business aligned with its projected growth
trajectory, with several opportunities currently in the final stages of technical completion and commercial
closure. This is expected to further strengthen KEL’s position in the automotive components segment and
support future growth.
