New Delhi: Jakson Green Limited, a green energy transition platform, today announced the signing of green ammonia purchase agreement (GAPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for the supply of green ammonia under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Programme – Component II: Incentive for Procurement of Green Ammonia Production (under Mode-2A) Scheme of the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) Government of India to Coromandel International Limited located in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
The estimated contract value over the contract period is about US$ 465 million. This follows Letter of Award (LOA) received by Jakson Green and consortium from SECI in August 2025.
The SIGHT Programme, India’s first green hydrogen and green ammonia procurement program, is being implemented to incentivise the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia in India and enhance cost competitiveness through transparent competitive bidding. Jakson Green secured this capacity through a competitive auction conducted by SECI.
Jakson Green, through supply of green ammonia intends to contribute to the decarbonisation of the fertiliser value chain while supporting the Government of India’s ambition to position the country as a global hub for green hydrogen and its derivatives.

In addition to this GAPA, Jakson Green seeks to advance its positioning in green hydrogen and sustainable fuels with a strong portfolio of projects across India. The company, through its associate is currently developing two green hydrogen projects of 5,000 TPA each for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
Jakson Green has ongoing EPC projects in the green molecules business with an AAA rated public sector undertaking. The contract envisages three distinct and integrated plants for ethanol, carbon capture and hydrogen with capacities of 10 TPD, 25 TPD and 3 TPD, respectively.
