New Delhi (Defence Desk): A two-day Conference on Women Peacekeepers from the Global South has began at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. It is scheduled on 24-25 February 2025.
The Centre for United Nations Peacekeeping (CUNPK), a premier #IndianArmy centre of excellence for UN training, is hosting this conference. This will bring together women peacekeepers from India and 35 nations to explore the evolving role of women in peacekeeping operations and discuss measures to enhance participation in these critical missions.

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal informed, “Top policymakers, peacekeepers & officials from India & 35 Troop Contributing Countries will come together to discuss the Global South’s perspective on Tech in Peacekeeping, Training & Regional collaboration.”
