Indian National Congress is in attacking mode after U.S. Investment Research Firm Hindenburg Research’s claim on Indian share market. Addressing a press conference, Congress on Sunday said that it was a mega scam.
Congress Party alleged that a mega scam has come to light. Offshore funding and stock manipulation were made. Hindenburg alleged how offshore funding led to stock manipulation and round tripping. The investigation of these cases was handed over to SEBI, because SEBI does the work of regulating the market. But now a new report by Hindenburg has revealed that SEBI Chief Madhabi Buch and her husband Dhaval Buch were investing in the same Bermuda/Mauritius funds with which Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Adani was associated.”

The party further said, “apart from SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch, Agora and Blackstone are mentioned in the Hindenburg Research report. Both of them are important characters.”
हिंडनबर्ग की नई रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि माधबी बुच का अडानी ग्रुप से जुड़े ऑफशोर फंड में निवेश था।
माधबी बुच ने SEBI चीफ बनने पर अपनी शेयर होल्डिंग अपने पति धवल बुच को ट्रांसफर कर दी।

According to the report:
• From April 2017 to March 2022, when Madhabi Buch was Whole-time Member and Chairperson at SEBI, she held 100% stake in an offshore Singaporean consulting firm called Agora Partners.
• In March 2022, upon becoming SEBI Chairperson, she transferred her shares to her husband Dhaval Buch.
• Agora partners company was registered in Singapore in the year 2013.
• SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch currently holds 99% stake in a company named Agora Advisory. Madhabi’s husband Dhawal Buch is its director.
In the year 2022, Agora had earned a revenue of $2,61,000, which is about 4.5 times the salary of SEBI chief Madhabi Buch.
