Rourkela (Staff Correspondent): The Fire Services Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) organised a special Blood Donation camp at Ispat General Hospital on 12th April, to mark the observance of Fire Services Week. Present on the occasion were Mr. J B Patnaik, GM (Fire Services), Senior Doctors, Fire Services Personnel, nurses and staff of IGH.
Working with a motto to serve to save, many Fire Services personnel volunteered to donate blood. This noble effort showcases the selfless dedication of the fire personnel in contributing towards the wellbeing of the people of the nation.
It is noteworthy that the Fire Service Week is being celebrated from 14th to 20th April, 2025. The Fire Services Department is organizing an array of programs to create awareness on fire safety as part of the week.
