Datamatics to Implement AFC & Mobile Ticketing Systems for Mumbai Metro

Mumbai: Datamatics, a global Digital Technologies, Operations, and Experiences company, announced that it will be associated with Phase 1 of Mumbai Metro line 2B and 9 as implementing partner of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and mobile ticketing systems. The AFC system has provided for faster entry-exit and auto fare deduction. The system is suitable for QR coded ticket as well as common mobility card. Phase 1 of both these lines was inaugurated on April 8, 2026, by Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde. Datamatics has also implemented the AFC solution for the Mumbai Metro lines 2A and 7.
