Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday emphasised the government’s commitment to boost farmers’ income and rural jobs for the welfare of farmers.
Highlighting recent decisions aimed at enhancing agricultural income and rural employment, Modi said that whether it is reducing the export duty on onions or increasing the import duty on edible oils, such decisions are going to greatly benefit our food producers. While these decisions will increase their income, employment opportunities will also be increased in rural areas.
