On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday on September 17, a special vegetarian langar will be organized at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. A total of 4,000 kilograms of pure vegetarian food, including rice, ghee, and dry fruits will be prepared and distributed to the poor and needy people. This event is being coordinated by the Indian Minority Foundation and the Chishti Foundation of Ajmer Sharif.
In an interview with ANI, the custodian of Ajmer Sharif Dargah Sayed Afsan Chishti said, “PM Modi sends a ceremonial chadar to the shrine every year, and he will do so again this year. They will distribute 4000 kg gangar on PM Modi’s 74th Birthday. They will pray for the long life and well-being of Prime Minister.”
Ajmer Sharif Dargah is home to one of the world’s largest cauldrons, where sweet rice will be prepared for this special occasion. The meal will be shared with the poor as a gesture of compassion and service.
This event symbolizes not only a celebration of the Prime Minister’s birthday but also a commitment to serve the less fortunate. It reflects a message of harmony and unity, where prayers for PM Modi’s health and longevity will be offered alongside the distribution of food to those in need.
