Greater Noida (National Desk): These days, a list of “minimum qualifications” of her future husband shared by a woman is spreading like wildfire on social media. This checklist is not a profile on a dating app, but as if a candidate is being searched for a high-profile job. This extraordinary list was posted on Reddit, where a person said that it was sent to him by his Tinder match. This list includes a total of 18 very specific and high criteria, the most shocking of which – the husband should have a minimum annual income of $300,000 i.e. about Rs 2.5 crore.

The expectations that the woman has put in this checklist are not limited to the economic level only. The type of life partner she has wanted clearly mentions emotional, social, material and even lifestyle expectations.

Here are some of the key demands of the woman:

– Salary: Minimum $300,000 annual income

– Nature: Generous, pampering, emotionally intelligent

– Personality: Self-confident, ambitious, disciplined

– Lifestyle: Luxury living, fine dining, regular travel

– Family: Family-oriented, socially connected

– Outward personality: Fit, attractive, well-groomed

– Priority in relationships: Deeply loving and puts the woman ‘first’

– Privacy: Away from social media, privacy is a priority

– Physical expectations: Sexually disciplined, loyal

– Life management: “Can give me an easy life” i.e. provide facilities like servants, cooks etc.

Social media reaction: ‘She is going to be alone forever’

As soon as this checklist came out, internet users started making memes, comments and jokes. Many people made it a subject of humour, while some also praised the woman’s “honesty”.

Some funny comments on Reddit:

– “Any guy who fits all these criteria will not be found on Tinder.”

– “Send this list back to her and see how she reacts.”

– “If she’s targeting 67-year-old rich widowers, this list is awesome.”

– “This is the best comedy content today.”

Similar demands went viral last year too

This is not the first time a woman’s ‘high expectation list’ has gone viral. Last year, a divorced woman’s similar demands made headlines, which included a husband with an annual salary of Rs 30 lakh, a 3BHK house, no in-laws, and a US-educated MBA or MS guy.

That list was also termed “dreamy but impractical” by netizens.

While such lists may spark discussion and laughter on the Internet, the trend points to something deeper — people’s changing perceptions of relationships, and sometimes extreme ideals. According to experts, having clear expectations is a good thing, but if these expectations are too far from reality, the relationship may end before it even begins.
