The drill was conducted in the presence of Sumit Kumar, CGM (Blast Furnaces); A.P. Gupta, DGM (BF) & DSO; Prabhu Patra, Assistant Manager (SED); and representatives from CISF, Fire Services, EMD, and OHSC.
Three specialized teams—Combat Team, Rescue Team, and Auxiliary Team—comprising members from Fire Services, Safety, and CISF actively participated in the exercise. The drill tested the effectiveness of coordinated emergency responses, reinforcing safety protocols and preparedness in tackling gas-related incidents.
