Greater Noida (Political Desk): The Bihar government on Monday tabled a ₹3.17 lakh crore Budget in the Assembly. Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said that special attention has been given to the health sector in the budget 2025-26. The amount allocated to the health sector will lead to the construction of hospitals with modern facilities in Bihar, which will provide better treatment to the patients.
However, RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav called this budget as ‘ink of lies and falsehoods’. He said, “Today, the Bihar government has read out the budget speech written on the pages of the government budget with the ink of lies and falsehoods. The ground reality is that Bihar is still yearning for basic facilities, let alone modern facilities.”
“The government is not able to generate revenue but is increasing the budget. They are worried about saving their chair and government but we are worried about saving and building Bihar,” he added.
