New Delhi (Sports Desk): Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the closing ceremony of the 38th National Games in Haldwani where he witnessed Indian athletes featured on the new world map.
Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed on the last day of the 38th National Games that India decided to host both the 2036 Olympic Games before the country established complete readiness for the quadrennial event fifteen years in advance.
Indian sports will deliver an extremely promising outlook to all of us in the years to come. Haldwani, Uttarakhand received a declaration from Shah as its chief guest at an inaugural event for the first Indian Olympic proposal for 2036.
The sportspeople who attend this sporting event in 2036 will take home medals which bring honor to both the national anthem and the tri-color flag according to the declaration of Shah.
On October 1 last year Indian Olympic Association filed its bid to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) through a “Letter of Intent.” Numerous sources indicate that India stands as a main candidate to secure the 2036 Summer Olympics through intense political bidding with the IOC that lasted for weeks.
Speaking at the IOC President Thomas Bach has confirmed that numerous countries exceeding ten have submitted bids to host the 2036 Summer Olympics. The first round of actions would commence between Qatar and India followed by actual India’s competition during the time of its rightful turn.
Even IOC President Thomas Bach himself has mentioned that he already “double-digits” countries are bidding for the 2036 Olympics. Indians and Qatar would be waiting in the first round of the turn of actual India’s turn itself before time.
Being the country’s medal tally in the country’s own Olympics and Paralympics of the past year, Shah ensured that the country’s sportsmen were coming back to the country on the global playing arena, “which quite obviously indicates there has been tremendous growth in the sports infrastructure, sports ambiance, and the competition level of the nation.” Shah complained,
“Short so then so so such a big event has been hosted by a hill state like Uttarakhand and why all Indian states are going to be prepared to play and invest in sports infrastructure is there.”Uttarakhand will organize National Games 2025.
