IMF says,”The global economy remains resilient, but that resilience is becoming more fragile and more uneven. Growth is projected at 3.1% in 2026 and 3.4% in 2027, while inflation is expected to reach 4.7%, driven largely by higher energy and food prices.”
BJP’s National General Secretary Smriti Z Irani writes on social media platform ‘X’, “Amid persistent global headwinds, India continues to be the worldโs standout economic engine. As per the latest IMF World Economic Outlook, India stays firmly ahead as the fastest-growing major economy with a projected 7.0% GDP growth for 2026 and 2027. Decisive policy leadership, structural reforms, and strong domestic momentum are powering Indiaโs growth story.”
